You can grow oysters to help the Bay!!!

Rock Creek/Stoney Creek Marylanders Grow Oysters (MGO) program has over 100 participants! With the boat assistance of Jason and Tanya from Pasadena Seafood, we planted 75,000 oysters on the Ft. Carroll reef in 2021. If you have access to a pier, and can spare a few minutes every other week, you can do this! The MGO program is free to all participants. This is at least a one year commitment. The oysters you grow will be placed on the Ft. Carroll reef in the summer of 2022. Most of you have saved your cages and are ready for the new oyster spat.
